About the school

PlanePoland was the aeroplane-training brand of the same group as ATO HELIPOLAND, based — like part of Helipoland's own training — at Kaniów airfield (EPKW). Matching its DTO declaration, it ran LAPL(A) and PPL(A) theory-and-practice training, and, through the group's shared ATO certificate, also offered CPL(A), FI(A), IR(A), MEP(L) ratings and night VFR training. PPL(A) training used, among others, a Cessna 172 and an Evektor SportStar RTC; the company also handled aircraft rental, sales (including as an Evektor dealer), charter and scenic flights. The planepoland.com site stopped serving the school by the 2024/2025 turn — the domain now redirects to an unrelated business.

Note

The planepoland.com site has been down since at least March 2025 — the domain now redirects to an unrelated business. The domain also has no MX record, so info@planepoland.com may not be able to receive mail even if someone were monitoring it. Every fact in this profile comes from archived snapshots of the site (Wayback Machine, 2018–2024 captures) and may be out of date — in particular the fleet and the wider rating list (CPL/FI/IR/MEP require the group's separate ATO certificate, not this register row's own DTO declaration).

What this means for you

A DTO is a lighter-weight form of training organisation, declared to ULC without full ATO certification. For a PPL(A) candidate it leads to exactly the same licence — DTOs are usually narrower in scope (e.g. PPL/LAPL only) and are often a cheaper, local option.
