About the school

ATO HELIPOLAND is a helicopter flight training organisation (ATO) based at Bielsko-Biała Aleksandrowice airfield (EPBA), with a second training airfield at Kaniów (EPKW). It runs LAPL(H), PPL(H), CPL(H), FI(H) and type-rating courses, mainly on a Robinson R44. Alongside training, the company also runs scenic flights, charter and specialist operations under a separate Air Operator Certificate (AOC).

Note

Per the ULC register the school also offers type-rating (TR) training on the R-66, Bell 407, Bell 427, Bell 505, EC 120, EC 130/AS 350 and AS 355. The charter/AOC fleet (Robinson R66, Airbus H125, Airbus H130, listed on /pl/flota/) is separate from the declared training fleet and was not confirmed as training aircraft — the PPL(H) course page names only the R44.

What this means for you

An ATO holds a full ULC certificate covering the whole training range — from basic licences to commercial and instructor ratings. These are the broadest-scope schools, often with their own fleet and simulators (FNPT/FSTD).
