Note

Training here is not an open offer: it leads to an ATPL(A) and is available only to Silesian University of Technology students on the "Nawigacja Powietrzna" specialty within the transport degree, after a qualification held at the end of the second semester of first-cycle study. The full course spans both the first-cycle and second-cycle degrees — completing only one level does not qualify you to apply for the licence. The degree is full-time only. Theory is taught in Katowice at ul. Krasińskiego 13; flying takes place at Gliwice-Trynek airfield or at other locations set by the training schedule.

What this means for you

An ATO holds a full ULC certificate covering the whole training range — from basic licences to commercial and instructor ratings. These are the broadest-scope schools, often with their own fleet and simulators (FNPT/FSTD).
