About the school

Aeroklub Koniński (trading as Centrum Lotnicze - Aeroklub Kazimierz Biskupi) traces its roots to 1976 as a branch of Aeroklub Pomorski, and has operated as an independent club affiliated with Aeroklub Polski since 22 December 1986; it has held Public Benefit Organisation status since 2014. Its base and airfield (ICAO EPKB) sit on land reclaimed from the "Konin" brown-coal mine north of Kazimierz Biskupi, with a lit asphalt runway (620×27 m, usable for night flying) plus a grass runway (1000×50 m), two hangars, a fuel station, and overnight accommodation. The club runs basic and advanced training in its aircraft section (toward the PPL(A) licence, with a night-flying rating available), glider section (toward the SPL licence), and balloon section (toward the BPL licence); theory training combines e-learning with in-person sessions at the club.

Note

Training is funded through a members' cost-reimbursement model (joining fee + monthly dues) rather than a commercial price list — the archived price page states this directly. No specific figures are recorded here: the last fully rendered numeric price table on the archived site dates to 2016 (too stale to quote), and the newer 2022 capture ("valid from 30 Jun 2022") had its numeric table present in the page's markup but hidden via an HTML comment, so it was not actually shown to visitors.

What this means for you

An ATO holds a full ULC certificate covering the whole training range — from basic licences to commercial and instructor ratings. These are the broadest-scope schools, often with their own fleet and simulators (FNPT/FSTD).
