Aeroklub Mielecki im. Braci Działowskich runs glider training at the Mielec airfield (ul. Lotniskowa 14). It offers a theory-and-practice course toward the SPL glider pilot licence (60 hours of theory across 10 subjects, a minimum of 47 dual/instructor flights including 5 solo), FI(S) instructor-rating training, a basic aerobatic glider rating, and a TMG extension toward the LAPL(S) licence. Theory classes are held in person at the Aeroclub's premises, typically over 5-6 consecutive weekends.

Per the site's price list (as of 6 Aug 2026), member rates: SPL theory course (winch) — 1000 PLN (under 25) / 1400 PLN (25+); SPL practical course — 5900 PLN; winch launch (training flight) — 30 PLN for AM members / 50 PLN for non-members; glider rental — SZD-54-2 Perkoz 102 PLN/h, other gliders 60 PLN/h (training flights, members); introductory circuit flight (up to 15 min, winch launch) — 300 PLN; FI(S) instructor course: theory 1000 PLN, practical 2500 PLN, qualifying flight 350 PLN. A mandatory pre-season prepayment of 500 PLN applies (100% credited toward glider flights). These are member rates — a joining fee also applies (200 PLN under 25 / 250 PLN 25+) plus annual dues (240 PLN under 25 / 360 PLN 25+, due by 31 March) or monthly dues (40 PLN / 50 PLN).

This entry's scope (DTO-37) covers glider training only: SPL, FI(S) instructor rating, a basic glider aerobatic rating, and the TMG extension toward LAPL(S) — matching the register's scopeRaw. The Aeroklub's site also runs a parachute-training section (szkolenia-spadochronowe), but that is a separate club activity outside this registry entry's scope, so it was not recorded here. The site's equipment list ("Ponadto posiadamy") groups tow planes (An-2, PZL-101A Gawron, PZL-104 Wilga) and a touring motor glider (Pipistrel Sinus 912) together without distinguishing role.
