Aeroklub Ziemi Jarosławskiej (despite the "Aerokub" typo in the ULC register) runs glider training from scratch out of the Laszki landing strip (EPJL) near Jarosław, using winch launches. This DTO entry covers only theoretical and practical training toward the sailplane pilot licence (SPL); the club also runs a separate powered-aircraft training programme outside the scope of this registration. It offers a paid introductory flight as part of its basic-training package and prepares students for the theory exam (an internal knowledge check plus an LKE exam simulator).

Per the club's own price list (as of 6 Aug 2026): joining fee — PLN 200 (associate member) / PLN 500 (full member); annual dues — associate member: PLN 120 (due by 31 Mar) or PLN 240 (due 1 Apr–30 Jun), PLN 30/month for anyone joining from 1 Jul onward; full member: PLN 240 / PLN 480, PLN 50/month for anyone joining from 1 Jul onward. Internal theory knowledge check (KWT): free for AZJ members, PLN 30 for others. Basic glider training (theory + introductory flight): PLN 200/person, PLN 180/person for groups over 5. Full winch-launch glider course (distance-mode theory + practice up to 5 solo flights, max 70 winch launches): PLN 3000 as a single payment or PLN 3500 in instalments. Winch-launch fees: PLN 12 (AZJ members) / PLN 22 (others). Hourly training/currency rate: two-seat glider — PLN 42 (members) / PLN 60 (others); single-seat glider — PLN 21 (members) / PLN 60 (others).

Enrolment is by phone (793 744 784) or e-mail (biuro@aeroklubjaroslaw.pl). Minimum age is 14, plus the ability to read and write. After the basic-training stage, a set of documents must be filed (membership declaration, training-participant declaration, parental consent for minors, glider-training agreement) — templates are available in the club site's Download section.

The club has lost the domain aeroklubjaroslaw.pl — it told us so itself in August 2026. The details below come from its former site and may be out of date. This DTO entry covers only winch-launch training toward the sailplane (SPL) licence from the Laszki landing strip; the club also runs a separate (empty at the time of checking) "Szkolenia Samolotowe" (powered-aircraft training) section and owns a SportStar RTC (registration SP-AZI, per the Download page), likely tied to that separate programme — outside the scope of this DTO registration. WARNING: the aeroklubjaroslaw.pl domain is partly compromised — the homepage and the "Historia Aeroklubu…" and "Aeroklub i rozrywka" sub-pages carry injected content promoting online casinos (links to nvcasino-pl.pl, vulkanspiele.com.pl, spin-sity.com among others). Those passages/pages were excluded and not used as a source for any field here — the rest of the site (O nas, Szkolenia Szybowcowe, Cennik, Lądowisko, Download) looks genuine and matches the register's phone, e-mail, and address.
What this means for you
A DTO is a lighter-weight form of training organisation, declared to ULC without full ATO certification. For a PPL(A) candidate it leads to exactly the same licence — DTOs are usually narrower in scope (e.g. PPL/LAPL only) and are often a cheaper, local option.
