Fast facts
Per the centre's own price list (read 6 Aug 2026; in force from 1 Apr 2024 until revoked): basic training — 600 PLN theory, 4,500 PLN practical (up to 62 flights). Also 90 PLN/h glider airframe-hours, 30 PLN per launch of any kind, 42 PLN/h for flights with an instructor or instructor supervision (minimum 15 PLN per flight) — not charged to Rzeszów University of Technology students and staff — and 500 PLN to draw up an individual training programme, 200 PLN for PRz students. The rates apply to licence holders and to student pilots training at the centre.

Note
The centre runs two intakes: one open to anyone and one reserved for Rzeszów University of Technology students — the price list bears this out by waiving some fees for PRz students and staff. It does not fly sightseeing passengers. The airfield lies on the southern slope of the Góry Słonne ridge (summit 630 m AMSL), permits VFR flying by day and night for aircraft up to 5,700 kg MTOW, and has used the radio frequency 125.905 MHz since 23 Mar 2021. Hang-gliders and paragliders share the slope, outside glider operations or by arrangement with the flight organiser.
What this means for you
A DTO is a lighter-weight form of training organisation, declared to ULC without full ATO certification. For a PPL(A) candidate it leads to exactly the same licence — DTOs are usually narrower in scope (e.g. PPL/LAPL only) and are often a cheaper, local option.
