Aeroklub Gdański, founded in 1929, is one of the largest and oldest aviation clubs in northern Poland, operating for nearly a century from the airfield at Pruszcz Gdański (shared with military unit JW.1300). As DTO-98 it runs theoretical and practical training for LAPL(A)/PPL(A), SPL (glider), BPL (balloon) and PPL(H) licences - it is the only Polish aeroklub offering helicopter training - plus additional ratings for aerobatics, night flying, and glider/banner towing.

Note
The club also runs a parachute/skydiving section (spadochrony.aeroklub.gda.pl, certificate PL.SPO.026.KRAJ / Parachute Training Center no. 78RPS-10/2012/1), plus paragliding and model-flying sections - all outside this entry's DTO-98 scope. The Cessna 208 Caravan mentioned on the site serves the skydiving operation, not training under this entry. The aerodrome is shared with military unit JW.1300 and has both a concrete and a grass runway (the site doesn't say which is primary).
What this means for you
A DTO is a lighter-weight form of training organisation, declared to ULC without full ATO certification. For a PPL(A) candidate it leads to exactly the same licence — DTOs are usually narrower in scope (e.g. PPL/LAPL only) and are often a cheaper, local option.
Theory is on you
This school handles the flying. To study the ULC theory exam's 9 subjects, get Pilot Test Zone.
