About the school

The Aviation Training Centre of Poznań University of Technology (CKL PP) is the university's own certified ATO, operating since 2014. It trains students of the Aircraft Pilotage specialisation within the Aviation and Space Technology programme, from LAPL(A)/PPL(A) up through a "frozen" CPL(A)/ATPL(A) with additional ratings (IR, ME, UPRT, MCC). Practical flight training has taken place at Kąkolewo airfield since 2020.

Note

Enrolment is closed to outside applicants: only Poznań University of Technology students in the Aviation programme (Aircraft Pilotage specialisation) are admitted, qualifying after their second semester; the recruitment page also requires English at CEFR B2 or above. The fleet page (/flota) shows 10 registered aircraft (SP-UTA/B/C/Z/D/E/F/G/H/M) plus an Alsim ALX-084 MCC simulator, but never states the aircraft's make or model.

What this means for you

An ATO holds a full ULC certificate covering the whole training range — from basic licences to commercial and instructor ratings. These are the broadest-scope schools, often with their own fleet and simulators (FNPT/FSTD).
