About the school

Aeroklub Białostocki has operated continuously since 1946 from Krywlany airfield (EPBK) in Białystok. It runs theoretical and practical training for the LAPL(A) and PPL(A) licences on Cessna 152 aircraft, plus glider (SPL) and touring motor-glider (SFCL.150) training on its own glider fleet and a Dimona motor glider. The club also sells paid introductory flights (airplane and glider) to non-members.

Indicative price

The published tariff is a member cost-reimbursement schedule (board resolution 37/2024, in force from 1 Jan 2025), not a commercial rental price -- per the 'Koszty Działalności Statutowej' PDF, as of 6 Aug 2026: Cessna 152 540 PLN/h (regular members), Cessna 207 1050 PLN/h, PZL-101 Gawron 1050 PLN/h, Dimona H36 (TMG) 324 PLN/h, Topaz 390 PLN/h; instructor-flight surcharge 159 PLN/h. These rates require club membership -- 2026 annual dues (per the club's price page, as of 6 Aug 2026): regular members over 25: 300 PLN (by 28 Feb) / 500 PLN (from 1 Mar); under 25: 200 PLN / 400 PLN; no separate one-time joining fee found on the site.

Note

The club also runs a skydiving section (Static Line and AFF training, priced in the same PDF) and a model-aviation section -- both outside PL.DTO-66's registered scope (LAPL(A)/PPL(A)/TMG/SEP/SPL/SFCL.150/FI(S) only), so excluded from the fields above. Domain is healthy, no sign of SEO hijack.

What this means for you

A DTO is a lighter-weight form of training organisation, declared to ULC without full ATO certification. For a PPL(A) candidate it leads to exactly the same licence — DTOs are usually narrower in scope (e.g. PPL/LAPL only) and are often a cheaper, local option.
