About the school

Stowarzyszenie Aeroklub Ziemi Mazowieckiej operates from Płock airfield (EPPL), with roots going back to 1928 — since the 1960s it has trained close to 500 powered-aircraft and glider pilots. The club runs LAPL(A) and PPL(A) licence training on a Cessna 152, additional airplane ratings (night VFR, aerobatics on a Zlin 526F, glider and banner towing), and glider training toward the SPL licence.

What this means for you

A DTO is a lighter-weight form of training organisation, declared to ULC without full ATO certification. For a PPL(A) candidate it leads to exactly the same licence — DTOs are usually narrower in scope (e.g. PPL/LAPL only) and are often a cheaper, local option.
