Aeroklub Kujawski in Inowrocław (founded in 1933) runs glider training (SPL), airplane training (PPL(A) tourist pilot licence on Cessna aircraft) and parachute courses using the Static Line method, operating from Inowrocław aerodrome (EPIN).

Indicative price

Per the club's PDF price list: e-learning theory for the SPL glider licence PLN 1,200; basic winch-launch flight training PLN 5,000 for members (60 launches at PLN 90) or PLN 6,000 (PLN 100 each) otherwise; aerotow training PLN 8,500 / 9,500. Introductory flight: aeroplane PLN 450 for up to 10 min (PLN 20 per extra minute), glider PLN 300 up to 10 min on a winch launch or PLN 600 up to 15 min on aerotow. Joining fee PLN 500; annual membership from PLN 400 for pupils and students under 25.

Booking & availability

To start glider training, the first step is submitting a club-membership application and passing an aero-medical exam; theory training usually begins in winter and practical flying in spring (per the club's website FAQ).

Note

Besides glider and airplane training, the club also runs a parachute section (Static Line jumps); this offering is not listed in the ULC register's certified scope. The administration phone line is staffed Monday–Friday, 9:00–13:00.

What this means for you

A DTO is a lighter-weight form of training organisation, declared to ULC without full ATO certification. For a PPL(A) candidate it leads to exactly the same licence — DTOs are usually narrower in scope (e.g. PPL/LAPL only) and are often a cheaper, local option.
