Aeroklub Lubelski w Radawcu has operated since 1927 and runs flight training at Lublin/Radawiec airfield (EPLR) across several sections: aircraft (PPL(A), SEP), gliding (SPL, glider towing), and instructor training (FI, FI(S)). Theory classes are held in the club's own lecture hall for small groups.

Per the club members' price list on the club site (as of 5 Aug 2026, 2026 rates) — the flying rates below are member rates: rental with instructor — Cessna 152 780 PLN/h, Cessna 172N 1020 PLN/h, Socata Rallye 235e 1320 PLN/h, Viper SD-4 RTC 880 PLN/h; PIC rental — Cessna 152 620 PLN/h, Cessna 172N 900 PLN/h, Viper SD-4 RTC 740 PLN/h; single-seat glider 78 PLN/h, two-seat glider 126 PLN/h, aerotow 21 PLN/min, winch launch 48 PLN/launch. Basic glider course (up to 70 flights): 7900 PLN. Annual flying-section membership: 840 PLN (740 PLN if paid by 28 Feb), under-25 members 590 PLN (520 PLN early payment); new-member enrollment fee: 600 PLN.

Enrollment runs year-round: indicate interest via the site's form (non-binding); once enough participants sign up, the club holds an information meeting. Glider and airplane courses typically start in spring. Training fees can be paid in installments.

Note
The club runs the annual Lubelskie Zimowe Zawody Samolotowe (Lublin Winter Aircraft Competition, held since the 1930s).
What this means for you
A DTO is a lighter-weight form of training organisation, declared to ULC without full ATO certification. For a PPL(A) candidate it leads to exactly the same licence — DTOs are usually narrower in scope (e.g. PPL/LAPL only) and are often a cheaper, local option.
