Aeroklub Opolski (named for the airmen of the Warsaw Uprising) is based at Opole – Polska Nowa Wieś airfield (ICAO EPOP) in the Komprachcice district, about 12 km from Opole. This DTO registration covers theoretical and practical training for the sailplane pilot licence (SPL), plus the additional ratings for glider aerobatics and cloud flying. The club's now-defunct former website (aeroklub.opole.pl) also described parachute, powered-aircraft, and paragliding sections the club historically ran — those activities are not necessarily covered by this DTO registration.

The domain aeroklub.opole.pl no longer resolves (NXDOMAIN as of 2026-08-06); it sat parked 2022-2025, then was taken over by late 2025 and now serves unrelated content (an online casino) — so it was not recorded as the website. The club's identity was confirmed via a matching phone number in Aeroklub Polski's own club directory and the same location appearing in 2014-2017 Wayback Machine snapshots of the former site.
