Aeroklub Łódzki, named after aviation pioneer Franciszek Żwirko, is one of Poland's oldest flying clubs, tracing its roots to the 1930s. It is based at the controlled Łódź-Lublinek airport (EPLL) and runs several sections — airplane, glider, parachute, balloon, microlight and model flying. It trains pilots for the PPL(A) and LAPL(A) licences as well as the FI(A) flight instructor rating, combining in-person classroom theory with practical flying on its own Diamond DA20 trainer.

What this means for you
An ATO holds a full ULC certificate covering the whole training range — from basic licences to commercial and instructor ratings. These are the broadest-scope schools, often with their own fleet and simulators (FNPT/FSTD).
Theory is on you
This school handles the flying. To study the ULC theory exam's 9 subjects, get Pilot Test Zone.
